2016 Vanguard University Player Clinic

Sat Dec 3rd @ Tewinkle Park 9am to 12pm!

vanguard-university-clinic-2015-5CMALL will again be hosting our annual Vanguard University Player Clinic. This event will be held on Saturday December 3rd from 9am to 12pm at Tewinkle Park on Fields #1 and #2. The clinic is FREE to all CMALL players who are registered to play for the Spring 2017 season in any division including T-ball, coach pitch, Minor C, Minor B, Minor A, or Majors.

Instruction will be led by the Vanguard University baseball team and head coach Robert Pegg with some assistance from our own CMALL coaches. The Lions made an appearance in the NAIA World Series in 2015. Two of their players were drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in this year’s MLB draft, Isaac Rojas and Sean Isaac. Both players were also NAIA All Americans. We are fortunate to have this partnership with Coach Pegg and his crew and they do a fantastic job every year with our young players.

Participants will be broken up into groups based on their registered division and will then move through a series of stations covering various skills including batting, fielding, throwing, and base running. This is a great opportunity to knock some of the rust off and get ready for the Spring season!
